All skills levels welcome, though recommended pre-requisites include a cartwheel, semi-decent handstand and bridge.
This acro intensive will be working through the strength drills and skills required for a variety of acrobatic movements, balances and skills.
We will be exploring walkovers, kickovers, cartwheels, partnering skills, balances and tumbling skills such as front handspring and aerial cartwheel drills.
We will be coordinating the skills learnt into an acro-dance routine to showcase the children’s abilities and give them a chance to perform their routine in front of a parent audience at the end of the session.
Please ensure children are dressed appropriately in leggings or bike shorts with leotard or form fitting singlet & crop top/sports bra. For boys, a t-shirt or singlet that can be tucked into shorts. Please bring a water bottle, and a light snack is also recommended.
