Introducing Daycare Dance! This is a new service offered by Dance Vibes, where we provide a 30 minute dance class at your centre.

Dance and music is so beneficial for the health, wellbeing and development of our tamariki.
It helps to:
- Support cognitive development
- Strengthen communication skills
- Allows creative expression and exploration
- Develop social skills such as taking turns and cooperating with peers
All this, with the added benefit of physical exercise, which is integral to a happy and healthy child! Our daycare sessions aim to be an inclusive, supportive and fun environment, where we empower children to explore life through the art of dance and music to become confident and secure people.
About Me:
Hi! My name is Sherri. I am passionate about working with children and exploring the art of dance and music to inspire creativity, joy and wellbeing. I trained and worked as a professional dancer in Melbourne Australia before moving to New Zealand in 2011. I have a level 4 certificate in Early Childhood Education and have spent several years working as a home based educator in Kerikeri. I have 4 wonderful children of my own and I currently teach dance classes for kids from 2-18 years. I believe a rich and nurturing early childhood environment is pivotal in supporting our tamariki to blossom into the amazing and unique beings that they are!
Classes can be tailored to suit your centre’s needs:

Payment Info:
$6 per child, minimum 8 children
10 week term = $60 per child
A trial session can be arranged before booking in for the term.
Full term payment to be made in advance.
Dance Vibes will take every precaution to keep the children safe during the dance class. However the health, safety and wellbeing of the children is the full responsibility of the daycare centre.
